(Ilana Messika/TPS) The IDF spokesperson stated the IDF and security forces had arrested 15 wanted men during nightly raids in Judea and Samaria on suspicions of involvement in terrorism along with violence toward civilians and security forces. Seven of the detained are wanted activists in the Hamas terrorist organization. All were transferred to the relevant security forces for questioning.
During search operations in the village of Katana, the IDF also seized several knives and uniforms, which were all handed over to the relevant security forces.
The police foreign press spokesman stated that Israeli police arrested three additional suspects on Tuesday morning, during police and IDF operations in the village of Bet Awwa in the Hebron Governorate, on suspicion of making and possessing seven improvised pipe bombs. The bombs were all destroyed by bomb-disposal experts and the investigation is still ongoing.
