Sammy Shiff and Ben Benson were named second place winners.

Two Carmel Academy students were named second place winners in the middle school division of the Connecticut statewide 2015 Stock Market Game. Sammy Shiff and Ben Benson, seventh graders at the Greenwich-based school, created a team portfolio that yielded a 2.41% return above S&P 500 growth. Sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, this simulated investment game promotes skills in business, economics, math, research and critical thinking.
